Pirata Group co-founder takes on role of interim CEO

The restaurant group operates 26 restaurants.

Pirata Group has announced that co-founder Christian Talpo will return as the new Interim CEO.

In 2014, Talpo, together with Manuel Palacio, co-founded the sky-high Italian restaurant, Pirata. Talpo withdrew from the group’s day-to-day operations in 2019 to pursue other avenues of business. Since then he has served on the group’s board of directors until his return to active operations this year.

Since its founding, Pirata Group has grown its portfolio of 16 F&B brands in 26 venues including Pirata, The Optimist, TokyoLima, Pici, Hugger Mugger, Chaiwala, Honjo, TMK, The Pizza Project, Pane e Latte, Honjokko, La Favorita, Tempo Tempo and Calle Ocho.
