Mad Mex aims to produce managers with 18-month training program

The “Graduate Program” is designed to “fast track the future leaders of Mad Mex,” the chain said.

Mad Mex announced the launch of an 18-month training program that aims to produce full-time restaurant managers and assistant managers for their 70-plus restaurant networks.

Some criteria for those eligible to join the chain’s “Graduate Program” include being an Australian resident, having no prior Certificate III or above qualifications, ability to use computer programs and being able to commit 38 hours per week.

“Our Graduate Program is designed to fast track the future leaders of Mad Mex. As part of our Graduate program, you will commence your career in a full time position of Luchador, Senior Luchador, Supervisor and then graduate as an Assistant Manager or Restaurant Manager within Mad Mex where you will be placed in one of our restaurants to manage,” the chain said in its listings for the program.

“You will also graduate with a Nationally recognised qualification including a Certificate III in Hospitality, have completed the Mad Mex Leadership Program and graduate with some great friends and life experiences. Once you complete your graduation, you will be eligible for a Full Time Assistant Manager or Business Manager,” it added.
