Global online ordering and delivery management platform Deliverect has appointed Joey Cheung as their Market Launcher for Asia.
With her extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of the industry, Cheung will spearhead Deliverect's expansion efforts in the region.
Cheung brings a wealth of expertise to her new role at Deliverect. Having worked closely with Deliverect's product during her tenure at Dough Bros, and with previous experience at partner company Deliveroo, Joey has a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities in the food delivery space.
The appointment follow the news of the firm acquiring Chatfood, consolidating Deliverect’s position as the forefront leader in online food ordering through social media channels. This acquisition enables Deliverect to revolutionize the way customers interact with food establishments, providing seamless ordering experiences on popular social media platforms like Instagram, Tiktok and WhatsApp. Alongside this, Deliverect also introduces convenient pay&collect options, further enhancing the overall efficiency of the food ordering process.
Deliverect, which provides a software platform that connects restaurant POS and kitchens with online ordering and delivery solutions, already serves over 45,000 restaurants worldwide; that includes Guzman Y Gomez, Pret a Manger, Taco Bell and KFC, and food delivery partners such as Grab, Deliveroo, Meituan and FoodPanda.
