Third Wave Coffee partners with HarperCollins India for World Book Day
The partnership will turn select Third Wave Coffee outlets into cafe libraries.
Third Wave Coffee is partnering with global publisher HarperCollins India to launch the Paperbacks & Pour Overs initiative, which will turn select outlets in India into cafe libraries.
These cafés will feature a handpicked HarperCollins Discovery Set—an engaging collection of popular and bestselling titles from both local and international lists. Housed on dedicated bookshelves, the selection will be refreshed periodically, ensuring there’s always something new to explore.
The initiative aims to transform each café into a cosy reading nook, inviting comfort, sparking conversations, and offering a moment of quiet reflection for solo readers and book lovers alike, all whilst enjoying their favourite brews.
“At Third Wave Coffee, we’ve always believed that our cafés are more than just places to grab a great cup — they’re where people pause, connect, and create. Coffee and books have always come together effortlessly, and with Paperbacks & Pour Overs, we’re excited to give this natural pairing a place in our spaces. This partnership is a celebration of two rituals — reading and brewing — and we're proud to bring them to life for our community,” said Rajat Luthra, CEO, Third Wave Coffee
The books will not be for sale, however, customers will be welcome to read whilst in-store. The initiative will also launch literature-led experiences such as author-led masterclasses, interactive workshops, book meetups, and co-branded merchandise.
World Book Day is celebrated on 23 April.
