E-wallet app GCash partners with TableVibe to launch food ordering in app

GCash users now have access to 4,000 restaurants via the e-wallet app.

Philippine e-wallet giant GCash has partnered with TableVibe to launch a food ordering service in its app.

GCash is a mobile wallet platform operated by G-Xchange, Inc., a subsidiary of Mynt. It allows users in the Philippines to pay bills, transfer money, shop online, and access financial services such as savings and credit. Tablevibe, a digital ordering startup backed by Y Combinator and other investors, works with restaurants to facilitate direct-to-customer online sales.

Through this partnership, GCash introduced its innovative Food Hub feature, accessible on the GCash app homepage, enabling users to have access to the over 4,000 partner restaurants of TableVibe.

The partnership promises exclusive deals and value prices for customers as well as lower delivery fees.

Partner restaurants include grilled chicken takeaway chain Chooks-to-Go, Korean takeaway fried chicken chain 24 Chicken, Pickup Coffee, and more.
