Krispy Kreme to enter Uzbekistan with first outlet in Tashkent
The chain targets 120 new outlets worldwide by 2030.
Krispy Kreme will open its first location in Uzbekistan this October, starting in Tashkent through a franchise deal with Food Town Logistics-Group, LLC.
The local partner plans to expand quickly, aiming to launch over 70 stores nationwide within five years.
The company is also growing in Brazil, with plans to open two outlets in São Paulo by year-end in partnership with Ipiranga’s AmPM convenience network.
Moreover, Krispy Kreme opened its first Hot Light Theatre Shop in Madrid through a joint venture with Glaseados Originales S.L.
The company aims to open two more shops in Madrid by year-end and over 50 locations across Spain within four years.
Expansion plans are also underway in Barcelona and Valencia, with future openings planned in markets such as Málaga, Zaragoza, and Bilbao.
The expansion extends Krispy Kreme’s presence to more than 40 markets and reinforces its asset-light model, which limits direct capital exposure whilst scaling retail distribution.
International markets contributed around 30% of group revenue in 2024. The company expects to add 120 stores worldwide by 2030 through new franchise agreements.
