India’s Costa Coffee CEO resigns

It will be effective on 8 January 2025.

Indian franchise group Devyani International Limited (DIL) has announced the resignation of Sreejit Madhavan Nair, CEO of Costa Coffee India, effective 8 January 2025.

In his resignation letter, he said that he would be stepping down as the CEO of Costa Coffee “due to personal reasons and to pursue other career opportunities outside the organisation.”

Kamaljit Singh Bedi, CEO of DIL’s Institutional Business and New Business Ventures, will succeed Nair as CEO of Costa Coffee and Airport Business, effective 9 January 2025.

Bedi has been the CEO of the Institutional Business and New Business Ventures since 14 May 2024.

He is a postgraduate in marketing and export management and has an experience of over 25 years working with companies and brands like ITC, Levi’s, Airtel, Mattel Inc., BIBA, Creambell, and Rich Products.
