Tealive eyes 30 Philippine stores by end-2022
The chain recently opened its first outlet in Manila.
Southeast Asian milk tea brand Tealive has opened its first outlet in the Philippine capital of Manila, located at SM Jazz Mall in Makati City, part of larger plans to grow the brand in the country.
The new outlet showcases the brand’s signature purple and features its signature Aren Palm Sugar series as part of the interior design.
Tealive’s Aren Palm Sugar Series comes in a selection of 5 flavours: Aren Palm Sugar Pearl Milk Tea, Aren Palm Sugar Signature Chocolate, Aren Palm Sugar Signature Coffee, Aren Palm Sugar Milk with Black Diamond, and Aren Palm Sugar Nishio Matcha.
The chain also launched with two offerings catering to Filipino taste: the Indulge Series, which uses toppings such as Lotus Biscoff, Oreo, and Salted Caramel; and the Big Bang series, which puts together cold brews with warm brown sugar pearls.
“With our first branch opening in Manila, and with more to come, we are excited to offer Filipino milk tea lovers delicious, freshly-brewed beverages born from our commitment to innovation. From our drinks to the ways we prioritize our customer experience, at Tealive, our mission is to change the way the world drinks tea, such as promoting online orders via QR code scan instead of ordering at the counter,” Tealive Philippines general manager Mike Dumaual said in a media release.
Tealive, which has grown to over 700 outlets worldwide, aims to open 30 stores in the Philippines by the end of 2022. It also targets to launch its Tealive app in April 2022 that boasts a streamlined pick-up feature, in-app delivery and personalised loyalty programme.
