Magnolia Bakery aims to double global footprint by 2030

The company’s strongest growth is underway in India and Turkey.

Magnolia Bakery plans to expand its global presence, doubling its number of international retail locations and entering new markets.

The company’s strongest growth is underway in India and Turkey.

In India, Magnolia Bakery and its local partner, Spago Foods, have extended their franchise agreement to open 24 additional bakeries across Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Delhi, adding to the 11 already operating.

The first Delhi location is expected to open in November.

Meanwhile, in Turkey, the Dincerler Group will open 11 more bakeries across Istanbul, bringing the total to 19. The eighth location is also set to open in November.

To manage the expansion, Magnolia Bakery has added two executives to its international franchise team: Rick Raison as Vice President of International Franchise Development and Julio Sanchez as Director of International Franchise Operations.

Raison previously led global growth for Chuck E. Cheese, whilst Sanchez brings over ten years of experience in franchise operations and multi-unit management.
