QSR Media: What are some of the interesting trends you've noticed in the past year that QSR leaders should keep an eye out for?

Bryan: Brands launching their own direct-to-consumers application became more critical today than before especially to power omnichannel experiences.

What has been your top challenge for the year and how did you and your brand overcome it?

Consumer buying behaviours tend to change when the economy is facing headwinds and consumers’ wallet is tight. Hence we’ve aggressively built up our top-of-mind position with more limited-time-offer or novelty products to stay relevant and sustain excitement. 

How do you think QSRs could maintain their competitive advantage in a quickly changing landscape? 

Embrace more technology. QSRs can invest in digital ordering platforms, own mobile apps, backend automation and self-service kiosks to enhance convenience and improve the overall customer experience. Additionally, leveraging data analytics and artificial intelligence can help QSRs  personalise customer offerings and optimise operations.

What specific insights do you want to leave the audience in your speaking/panel session?
