P'Nut Asian Kitchen lets customers choose next Pad Thai

The winning recipe will get added to the menu permanently.

P'Nut Asian Kitchen is asking its customers to vote on its newest permanent menu addition.

The Asian fast food chain is running a campaign called Battle of Pad Thai, which will run until 4 October, across participating Sydney and Brisbane restaurants that puts three wok-cooked Pad Thai variations - Original, Challenger and Innovator - with the winning recipe considered for a permanent menu listing.

"Rather than launching a new dish and hoping customers like it, we wanted to turn the process around. Customers taste the range, vote on it, and effectively co-design what comes next on the menu - it's a lower-risk way to test demand before a permanent rollout,” Sehgal said.

Customers can vote in-store with weekly prize incentives for customers. The brand has also tapped several Sydney food creators to taste test and help drive traffic towards the trial.

Customers who vote go into the draw to win Free Pad Thai for a Year, plus weekly $100 P'Nut vouchers for the duration of the campaign.
