KFC Australia offers posties free meals
The fast food chain mailed redeemable postcards for a free meal to its restaurants.
KFC Australia has launched a campaign offering postal workers free meals.
In a statement posted to social media, the chain said it would mail a batch of "very urgent postcards" addressed to its own restaurants, giving posties an "official" reason to visit. When a postal worker delivers one of the postcards into a participating restaurant and hands it to a team member over the counter, it can be redeemed for a free meal.
"To ensure future visits by postal workers are strictly 'official business,' KFC is immediately posting a bunch of very urgent postcards addressed to... ourselves," the statement read. "Consider it postage paid in chicken."
