Papa Johns UK names Vish Talreja as property and development director
He will oversee new restaurant and distribution site development.
Papa Johns UK has appointed Vish Talreja as its new Director of Property and Development.
Reporting to Grant Read, Managing Director of UK & Europe, Talreja will oversee the acquisition and development of new restaurant sites and distribution facilities, alongside the optimisation of Papa Johns’ existing estate.
He will also be responsible for developing the property pipeline to support the company’s long-term growth plans in the UK.
Papa Johns currently operates more than 450 restaurants across the UK.
Talreja joins the business after eight years as property director at Itsu, where he helped shift the restaurant brand’s estate strategy from a London-focused footprint to a national UK presence.
His previous experience also includes supporting the Five Guys leadership team in securing the tender for its first UK airport site at Heathrow Terminal 5.
Talreja has held other property and development roles across the QSR and foodservice sector, including at Yum Brands’ KFC, Kout Food Group’s KFC and Costa businesses, Starbucks UK franchisee Queensway, and YO! Sushi.
