Zarraffa’s franchisees return to Springwood with new drive-thru
The new site has created up to 25 local jobs.
Longstanding Zarraffa’s Coffee franchisees Mayur Patel, Hemal and Mona Keniya, and Rupa and Nik Patel have returned to Springwood with a new drive-thru store.
The store replaces the group’s former Chatswood Road site, which operated for 14 years before closing in 2025 to make way for the new drive-thru format.
Mayur, Hemal, and Mona joined the Zarraffa’s network in 2006, whilst Rupa and Nik joined the group in 2011.
The group’s first store was in Palm Beach on the Gold Coast and has since grown to six locations across Queensland: Currumbin, Ferry Road, Heathwood, Hendra, Sugarland, and Springwood.
The new Springwood site uses Zarraffa’s drive-thru model, which was introduced in 2023.
The format has since been expanded to include a walk-up service window and area alongside the drive-thru.
The store will offer Zarraffa’s coffee blends, freshly baked in-store items, breakfast options, and snacks.
The new site is expected to create up to 25 local jobs, with staff training and development as part of the group’s operations.
The opening comes as Zarraffa’s marks 30 years in operation.
The chain currently has more than 85 stores across Queensland, New South Wales, Western Australia, South Australia, and Victoria, with a target of 200 sites nationally by 2032.
