Motto Motto targets Western Australia with 10 restaurant deal
The group said it is on track to reach $60m in annual retail sales next year.
Motto Motto has announced a major commitment to open 10 restaurants in Western Australia in the next four years following an announced triple restaurant roll-out across the region.
Matt Fickling, COO of Motto Motto, said the Perth rollout represented the next stage in the transformation of the business from a small Brisbane restaurant group into a national brand.
“We are entering Western Australia with three restaurants, two experienced multi-site franchise partners and a clear goal to build a network of 10 locations over the next four years,” Fickling said.
Motto Motto will open at Currambine Central in mid-September, the redeveloped Galleria Shopping Centre on 19 November and Midland Gate in late November. All three Perth restaurants will be franchise-owned and operated by two experienced multi-site franchise partners.
MS Group WA, an established franchisee and area developer for other beverage brands, will operate the Morley Galleria restaurant.
The expansion comes as the Brisbane-founded business grows from five restaurants generating approximately $6m in annual network sales in 2019 to a 30-restaurant network forecast to exceed $60m in annual retail sales next year.
The group also announced that it will open 10 restaurants in 2027 and is planning to target Adelaide next.
