Chipotle enters Saudi Arabia with first Riyadh location
The restaurant is located at Sidra Mall in Gharnatah.
Chipotle Mexican Grill opened its first restaurant in Saudi Arabia in Riyadh, under its partnership with Alshaya Group.
The restaurant is located at Sidra Mall in Gharnatah and will serve Chipotle’s burritos, bowls, tacos, quesadillas, and salads.
Customers will be able to customise orders with different proteins, rice, beans, salsas, toppings, and guacamole.
The Saudi opening expands Chipotle’s Middle East footprint, which began in 2024 through its partnership with Alshaya.
The chain currently has 16 restaurants across the Gulf Cooperation Council, including seven each in the UAE and Kuwait, two in Qatar, and its first location in Saudi Arabia.
This momentum is set to continue in 2027, with Chipotle planning to launch in Bahrain and further expand in Saudi Arabia with a new location in Jeddah.
Chipotle also operates restaurants in Canada, the UK, France, and Germany, whilst its Middle East and Mexico locations include partner-operated restaurants.
