Black Sheep Coffee signs deal to open 16 Hampshire locations
Southampton and Portsmouth are amongst the locations being considered.
Black Sheep Coffee plans to enter Hampshire for the first time after signing a development agreement to open at least 16 stores across the county.
The expansion will be led by new franchise partners Sumeet Dhillon, Brinderjeet Gill, Kalveer Dhillon, and Ankit Patel, who will oversee the rollout.
The agreement gives Black Sheep Coffee its first dedicated presence in Hampshire, where it currently has no stores.
The company said the county's combination of cities, commuter towns, retail parks, shopping centres, and roadside locations makes it a target for expansion.
Southampton and Portsmouth are amongst the locations being considered, alongside other high-footfall areas.
The rollout will include a mix of store formats, including high street outlets, shopping centre locations, drive-thrus, roadside stores and retail park sites.
Black Sheep Coffee said the new locations will serve its range of coffee, food and cold drinks, including its speciality-grade Robusta coffee and matcha products.
The Hampshire rollout forms part of the company's wider UK expansion through franchise partnerships.
Black Sheep Coffee said the new stores are expected to create jobs in the county as it continues to expand its national footprint.
