Fishbowl officially rebrands to Thisbowl
The brand was founded in 2016.
Fast-casual restaurant chain FISHBOWL announced that it is officially changing its name to THISBOWL.
“We're evolving from FISHBOWL to THISBOWL. Why? It's pretty simple: We serve a menu that goes far beyond fish, and we wanted our name to reflect that there's truly something for everyone. Because THISBOWL is for everyone. It's the sum of everything we love and believe in -- food, design, music, movement, art, fashion and culture,” the chain said in a LinkedIn post.
The name is not new to the brand as Thisbowl is the name it used when it expanded in the US, where it has four restaurants.
Founded in 2016 in Bondi Beach by Casper Ettelson, Nathan Dalah and Nic Pestalozzi, Thisbowl serves Japanese-inspired salad and bowls.
