Pizza Hut eyes 100 new sites by 2030 in $10m Australian brand overhaul
The initiative is backed by global franchise operator Flynn Group.
Pizza Hut is rolling out a $10m brand transformation across Australia, including the refurbishment of more than 90% of its national store network and plans to open more than 100 new stores by 2030, creating more than 3,000 jobs.
The initiative is backed by global franchise operator Flynn Group and supported by over 200 franchisees.
The company plans to roll out the new restaurant format across 250 locations by the end of the year.
The redesign draws on Pizza Hut's heritage, incorporating the brand's red hut identity throughout restaurants.
The broader refresh also includes updates to 1.7 million pizza boxes, 5 million other packaging items, 15,000 team uniforms, and a new digital experience.
"Pizza Hut has always been built on uncompromising quality, and now we’re leveraging that established foundation to lead a complete reset,” said Richard Wallis, president of Flynn Group APAC. “It's a complete reinvestment in the product, the stores, and the people behind them… We've spent years partnering with our franchisees to earn the right to say we've changed."
Pizza Hut said it currently operates 292 stores in Australia with more than 200 franchise partners, collectively employing over 5,000 people.
It has opened 15 new stores in 2025 and said further expansion is planned through the remainder of 2026.
The company has also launched a new brand campaign, "How Bad Do You Want Good?", which debuted during the 2026 State of Origin decider.
The campaign is running across television, out-of-home, digital and social channels, alongside consumer events in Sydney and Melbourne.
