KFC opens restaurant in Stratford-Upon-Avon under new design
The opening created 50 jobs.
KFC has opened a restaurant in the historic Stratford-upon-Avon, a medieval market town in England’s West Midlands known as the birthplace of William Shakespeare.
Opening on 10 August, the restaurant will serve KFC’s full menu including the newly launched Tenders & Dips range, and the brand new limited-edition Crispy Naan menu.
The restaurant also features KFC’s newest design fit-outs, including seating for 102 guests, as well as four digital ordering kiosks for grab and go. There will also be a dedicated waiting area for delivery drivers, with delivery available from day one via Just Eat, Deliveroo and Uber Eats.

The opening will create 50 new jobs in the local community, including a mixture of Team Member, Team Leader and management roles, with applications still open for those wanting to join the coop.
As part of KFC’s commitment to being a good neighbour in local communities, the KFC Stratford-upon-Avon team will take part in daily litter picks to keep the local community clean and tidy. KFC will also donate surplus food to community kitchens through its partnership with The Felix Project.
Since opening its first restaurant in the West Midlands 50 years ago, KFC has grown to more than 75 restaurants across the region, working with 10 franchise partners and supporting 2,300 jobs.
Recent KFC research has found that the West Midlands is home to the UK's biggest fried chicken fans, with 89% enjoying it compared with 70% nationally. It comes after the brand recently announced a record £60m contribution to the West Midlands economy through new restaurants, refurbishments, jobs and its supply chain.
The new restaurant forms part of KFC's £1.5b UK and Ireland growth plan. This investment will see 500 restaurants open over the next decade, and more than 7,000 jobs created across the business and its supply chain.
